I think it is interesting that Hillary Clinton went to Flint once the water situation there became known nationally. She appeared to be concerned about the drinking water and the affect it has had on the population of that area. There are a lot of voters in Flint and particularly black voters; South Carolina was just around the corner. She looked good, as if she was on the cutting edge of the fight for contaminant free water for those people. Was that political or was she actually concerned for the people?
If Clinton is actually concerned about the drinking water and the environment then why does she support FRACKING? Fracking contaminates the drinking water and produces other environmental and health problems for people worldwide. The list of health and environmental concerns from the fracking process is a long one.
Just days before the Iowa caucus, Hillary Clinton left the campaign trail for a high-dollar fundraiser at a hedge fund. That same hedge fund is a major investor in fracking, an incredibly destructive practice of extracting natural gas by pumping hundreds of secret chemicals into the ground.
Bernie Sanders has something to say about that, “And just as I believe you can’t take on Wall Street while taking their money, I don’t believe you can take on climate change effectively while taking money from those who would profit off the destruction of the planet.”
As Secretary of State Clinton promoted fracking in other countries; she pushed to spread fracking to countries where environmental regulation is highly unlikely to keep it in check. Even here in the U.S., the practice is still largely unregulated at the federal level. Clinton claims that with proper safeguards fracking is safe and the benefits are worth the effort. Earthquakes aside fracking is not safe and Clinton should know that, I believe she knows.
If Clinton is actually an advocate of the population of Flint then what separates them from the population of areas of our country affected by fracking? People who live near fracking locations no longer have drinkable water, and in some cases their tap water is actually flammable. Oklahoma has even seen a rash of earthquakes that many believe are a result of fracking. In short, fracking is a disaster for the planet. Fracking can cause earth quakes and one step in the fracking process is to seal harmful chemicals in the ground once the natural gas has been extracted. Naturally occurring quakes and those caused by the fracking process can open those pits of harmful agents and contaminate the ground water.
Flip Flop Clinton strikes again, she advocates for the citizens of Flint acting as if she is leading the charge to help them while promoting a practice which is equally harmful to people worldwide. As I see thing Clinton is as much a part of the problem as Governor Snyder, not in Flint directly but for the world as a whole.
She claims to be an advocate for a sustainable planet, alternate energy, ending our dependency on fossil fuels, promoting good health for people when it is necessary to be elected but in reality she could care less about any of those issues.
If you are not familiar with fracking or simply want to learn more the Green Peace site has some good information.

If you want to verify (you should always verify) Clinton’s stand on Fracking just Google “Hillary Clinton and fracking” and you will have much to read.
Please pass this information along to anyone who is thinking of supporting Clinton for the nomination, we only get one planet and the future of the human race depends on our efforts today.
